The Comet “Panstarrs” ~ A Chance to See or Photo Challenge

Just a couple of weeks away from our first views of Comet PANSTARRS up
here in the northern hemisphere but to see it you will need a very flat
western horizon.  Apparently essential.
The best times to look will be on the evenings of March 12th and 13th
because on those nights the crescent Moon can be used as a guide to help find
PANSTARRS.   On the 12th the comet will be to the Moon’s upper left and on the 13th to the Moon’s lower right.  For a diagram and more information go to the “Waiting for Ison” blog site www.waitingforison.wordpress.com/comet-panstarrs/
